Private maths tutoring, built on evidence

Not another hour of "going through some questions". Every programme starts with a diagnostic assessment and is built from our analysis of 246 real exam papers, so each session targets exactly the marks your child is missing, in the order that builds them.

How it works

1
Free consultation
A 20-minute call with you (the parent): your child's situation, goals and whether I'm the right fit. No work begins before this, and no obligation after it.
2
Diagnostic assessment
Your child sits a structured diagnostic matched to their course, board, tier and school term, so we know precisely where the gaps are, not where we guess they are.
3
Bespoke programme
The diagnostic meets the exam data: topics ranked by marks available, how often they're examined, and how strongly they separate grades. That ranking becomes the plan.
4
Teach, practise, re-test
Weekly 1-to-1 sessions with follow-up practice that auto-marks on MathedUp. Progress is re-assessed every few weeks and the plan adjusts. You see everything.

Why the data matters

Most tutoring works through a textbook or whatever homework arrived that week. That feels productive, but it spends precious hours on the wrong things.

I've analysed 246 real GCSE papers question by question: which topics carry the most marks, how often each one appears, which ones most strongly separate a grade 4 from a 5, or a 6 from a 9. Your child's programme is built from that evidence, matched against their own diagnostic. Highest-impact gaps first. Nothing generic.

Between sessions, practice is set on MathedUp: auto-marked quizzes and worksheets with progress your child (and you) can see move from red to green. The platform is free for every student, forever; tutoring simply adds the expert, the plan and the accountability on top.

Really helpful for my daughter (11) and my son (16). I'd recommend it for any student doing their GCSEs.

Such an amazing website; it really helped me with my revision (even though I'm only in Year 7)!

Places are very limited. I keep the tutoring list small so every student gets the founder-level version of this, not a diluted one. Fill this in and I'll reply personally within 48 hours to arrange your free 20-minute call.

Safeguarding first: all sessions are online and recorded, a parent/carer should be reachable during sessions, and you're welcome to sit in, especially at the start. Enhanced DBS held as a serving teacher.
