My fantastic further maths group had a whale of a time today working on this really nice jigsaw activity (PDF) that covers the whole of the vectors topic in Further Pure 4 (AQA). The task required them to discuss what they were doing and gave them the opportunity to bring together all of the ideas we had covered over the course of this tough, but enjoyable, module. If you like this type activity, why not download the excellent Tarsia software and make your own. Alternatively, access hundreds of Tarsia puzzles compiled by me and the rest of the Peterborough network of maths teachers (you will need to download the software to access these files).
